Classic Cake Celebrates Flyers Home Opener Oct. 10

One day after the Philadelphia Flyers play their first home game of the 2014-15 NHL season, Cherry Hill residents have the chance to celebrate with fellow fans and Flyers alumni.

Classic Cake is throwing a Flyers pep rally at its Cherry Hill location on Friday, Oct. 10, 3 p.m.-6 p.m.

There will be a meet-and-greet with Flyers alumni, including Todd Fedoruk, There will be food and activities, including face painting, photo booth, chocolate fountain and giveaways. Proceeds will benefit the Flyers charities.

Classic Cake, which offers cakes, cookies, desserts and customized delicacies, is now the official dessert sponsor for the Philadelphia Flyers and the Wells Fargo Center.

Classic Cake is located at 480 Evesham Road in Cherry Hill.

The Flyers open the season at Boston on Oct. 8. They host the New Jersey Devils Oct. 9.
