Competitive Basketball League Tips Off At Katz JCC Dec. 20

The Martin Tepper High School Basketball League gives students who don't play for their school's team the chance to play competitive ball.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Betty and Milton Katz Jewish Community Center (Katz JCC) is offering high school students in ninth through 12th grades who don’t play on their high school’s team the chance to play in a competitive basketball league.

The Martin Tepper High School Basketball League consists of player-formed teams of seven to 10 players.
Teams will play eight regular season games on Wednesday nights beginning Dec. 20. Game times are 7:30 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. There will be playoffs with awards given to the league champions.

Participants receive a t-shirt and games are refereed by certified officials. This season, there are no free agents and players must register as part of a team. Teams are forming now. The team fee teams that consist of three or more JCC members is $700. For non-JCC member teams, the team fee is $850.
