A Cooling Station Is Available In Camden Co. Here's Where.
Excessive heat can be hazardous to one's health, particularly in the older population, a health official said.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Temperatures will approach 100 degrees in many parts of New Jersey on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Therefore, a reminder that Cherry Hill Mall — one of Camden County's cooling stations — is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, according to its website.
Herb Conaway, director of the Burlington County Health Department, asked residents to look after their older people they may know during a previous heatwave.

"We ... encourage residents to check on any elderly relatives or neighbors who may be susceptible to heat-related illnesses," he said. "Let's ... take precautions to avoid any unnecessary illnesses or
