UPDATE: Pickup Truck Overturned In 3-Vehicle Crash That Backed Up I-295: Police

No injuries were life-threatening in the crash that significantly delayed morning commutes, officials told Patch.

LAWNSIDE, NJ — A pickup truck overturned in a three-vehicle crash that caused significant backups during Monday morning's commute on Interstate 295 in Camden County, officials said.

The collision involved a Ford passenger vehicle, a Chevy pickup truck and a Ford pickup truck, according to State Police Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron. The Ford pickup truck overturned, Lebron told Patch.

It happened at 6:35 a.m. Monday on I-295 north in Lawnside.

Non-life-threatening injuries were reported, but State Police did not say how many people were hurt. The circumstances of the crash, which remains under investigation, also weren't clear.

Traffic was delayed by 15 to 20 minutes for a few hours after the crash, according to the NJ Department of Transportation.
