Vernon Streets shortly before 9:30 a.m., where they found flames coming from the building, according to officials and an <a href="https://6abc.com/post/firefighters-camden-new-jersey-battle-2-alarm-fire-vacant-school/15686444/" rel="noopener nofollow" target="_blank">Action News report</a>. Video shot by Action News showed black smoke billowing from the building's roof. Fire crews gained control of the fire around 12:15 p.m., the report said. It's unclear if anyone was injured in the blaze.
