Dine for a Cure with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society invites you to come out and dine for a cure in support of Mt. Laurel resident, Alec Kazandjian.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society invites you to come out and dine for a cure in support of Mt. Laurel resident, Alec Kazandjian, who is currently battling leukemia. Alec was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia on August 21, 2013 at the age of 9. Determined to find a cure and help other kids like him, Alec has been raising money since his diagnosis. While he was still in the hospital, he raised money for the CHOP Child Life Program by making rainbow loom bracelets. Next he participated in the American Cancer Society Bikeathon with his friend Cameron Humphries. Although he had just been released from the hospital, he managed to ride 16 miles that day! Then he was invited to become a CHOP ambassador for the Parkway Walk/Run and despite still undergoing intense chemotherapy, ran the 5K. Now he is asking you to help him with his dream to put an end to childhood cancer.

Thanks to the generous donation from the Little Mill Country Club and Carrabba’s in Marlton, Alec’s family will be hosting a dinner on June 5th from 7:00-11:00 pm at the Little Mill Country Club, 104 Bortons Road, Marlton, NJ 08053. Please join us for a fun filled night of entertainment in support of Alec. The night will include dinner from Carrabba’s, a comedy show featuring comedian Dan Naian, dancing with DJ Chris Michael, cash bar, and a silent auction. Proceeds will go to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, whose mission is to cure blood cancers, including leukemia.
