Discounted Lyft Rides Between RCBC And Cherry Hill Mall For Students

CHERRY HILL, NJ — There's less walking in the future for Rowan College at Burlington County students. Students who are new and existing users of the transportation service Lyft are eligible for a 50 percent discount up to $25 on trips that begin and end at one of the college’s campuses and one of a number of off-campus locations, including the Cherry Hill Mall as part of Lyft Line

College campuses are located in Mount Laurel, Mount Holly, Willingboro and Pemberton. Other off-campus locations that are part of this deal include:

• Moorestown Mall
• Cinnaminson Library
• Riverline Stations in Beverly and Riverside
• Lumberton Crossroads Plaza
• Centerton Square (Mount Laurel)

“Through our partnership with Rowan College at Burlington County, Lyft is offering students a new option for increased mobility, access and convenience. Lyft Line provides a reliable resource for students who need a solution to transportation issues,” Lyft New Jersey General Manager Ann Ferracane said.

“Our students are constantly on the go as they make their way to classes, work and throughout the community,” Rowan College at Burlington County Acting President Michael Cioce said. “Our partnership with Lyft gives our students a way to get to their destination quickly and efficiently. Transportation issues should never prevent a student from attending the top-ranked community college in New Jersey.”

Burlington County Freeholder Linda Hughes, who serves as education liaison to the college and is a former Rowan College at Burlington County trustee, said the partnership will help more students access the college.

“This is an innovative solution to help students access the region’s premier college in the New Jersey’s largest geographic county,” Hughes said. “This will help more students to take advantage of the tremendous opportunities available to them at Rowan College at Burlington County.”
