Driver Comes Forward In Cherry Hill Hit-And-Run: Police
The driver has come forward after images of his car were released over the weekend. The victim remains in critical condition.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - The driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that left an 18-year-old man in critical condition has come forward and is cooperating with police, Cherry Hill police announced on Monday.
Over the weekend, Cherry Hill police released images of the car that was involved in the accident on Route 38 on April 4.
With the help of tips received from the public, police were able to identify the truck and the trailer. The driver then came forward, police said. The driver was not identified by police.

The car was seen traveling west on Route 38 from Nixon Drive in Moorestown, through the areas of Church Road and Haddonfield Road, and left Route 38 somewhere between Chapel Avenue and Cuthbert Boulevard in Cherry Hill, police said.
An 18-year-old man was crossing Route 38 in the area of the McDonald's by Church Road. He jumped the concrete barrier and was hit by the pictured car in the right lane, police said. He remained in critical condition as of Monday.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are still asking for any witnesses or anyone who might have additional information to call Officer John Domingo at 856-432-8856.
