Emergency Construction Delaying Traffic On Route 70 In Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Expect backups on Route 70 from emergency construction, officials said late Monday afternoon.

There's emergency construction on Route 70 (Marlton Pike) and Springdale Road, according to 511NJ.

One of two Route 70 westbound lanes is closed as of 4:15 p.m. Monday. Delays of 5 to 10 minutes are expected in that direction.

All eastbound lanes have reopened.

The nature of the construction wasn't immediately clear.
