Emergency Drainage Work In Cherry Hill Begins Thursday
Work is expected to last for two days. Roads will be closed in and around the work area.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Emergency drainage repairs at the intersection of Chapel Avenue and Hinchman Avenue in Cherry Hill begin Thursday, Camden County officials announced. Roads will be closed in and around the construction area.
Chapel Avenue will be closed to westbound traffic from Hinchman Avenue to the South Center Street circle. Hinchman Avenue will also be fully closed between Chapel Avenue and Evergreen Avenue.
The closures will be in effect Thursday and Friday, July 19, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Work is expected to be finished by the end of the work day on Friday, depending on weather and other factors.

“Road closures can affect traffic patterns and travel times throughout the surrounding area, so it’s important for motorists to be aware of how this may affect their commute,” Camden County Freeholder Susan Shin Angulo said. “Motorists should be alert for shifting traffic patterns, congestion, and sudden stops when in the construction area. Make sure to leave extra time when commuting and remain extra vigilant of additional hazards when driving near crews and equipment.”
