Fatal Shooting Of Man In Camden Under Investigation: Prosecutor
The city resident was brought to the hospital and pronounced dead shortly after, officials said.
CAMDEN, NJ — A shooting that killed a man in Camden is under investigation, officials said.
Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation for gunfire at 11:35 p.m. Friday on the 1000 block of Liberty Street. Arriving officers found the victim — Donald Green, 43, of Camden — suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Camden County Prosecutor's Office (CCPO).
Officers took the victim to Cooper University Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries, the CCPO said. He was pronounced dead at 12:22 a.m. Saturday.
