Fine-Dining Seafood Chain Coming Soon To Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ — South Jersey will soon get a taste of a "luxury dining destination" offering seafood, steak and cocktails. Eddie V's Prime Seafood plans to open June 15 in the Cherry Hill Mall.

Founded in 2000 in Austin, Texas, Eddie V's has roughly 30 eateries nationwide. The menu includes seafood flown in from around the world, with a changing array of seasonal dishes only served during their peaks.

Eddie V's describes its culinary style as "classic American with a touch of modern Asian," with signature items including Chilean Sea Bass Steamed Hong Kong Style, Parmesan Sole and Crab Fried Rice. The eatery also serves prime steaks, hand-carved daily by the in-house butcher.

The Cherry Hill location (2000 Route 38) is 10,965 square feet, which includes two private dining rooms and an outdoor patio. The "V Lounge" includes a stage for nightly performances from locally acclaimed musicians, according to Eddie V's.

The dining room opens at 5 p.m. daily, while the V Lounge opens an hour earlier and serves Happy Hour from 4-6:30 p.m. Sunday through Thursday.

Eddie V's will have the following dinner hours:

• Sunday: 5-9 p.m.
• Monday through Thursday: 5-10 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 5-11 p.m.

Here are the live-music hours:

• Sunday: 6-9 p.m.
• Monday through Thursday: 7-10 p.m.
• Friday and Saturday: 7-11 p.m.

Eddie V's will open early on Father's Day (June 18), operating from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with live music from 4-8 p.m. in the V Lounge.
