Firefighters Help Dog After Cherry Hill House Fire: Photos

Cherry Hill firefighters helped dog recover from a house fire that broke out Thursday on Daytona Avenue. No other injuries were reported.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Firefighters helped a dog recover from a house fire on Thursday afternoon as they battled a blaze in Cherry Hill.

The fire in the 200 block of Daytona Avenue was under control as of 4:16 p.m., firefighters said.

None of the human residents inside were injured, the fire department said.

"One dog was given care on scene by our EMTs and then was transported privately by family to a veterinarian office," the fire department said.
