Gary Busey Pleads Guilty To Sex Crime At Cherry Hill Convention
The actor was accused of groping women at the event a few years ago.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Actor Gary Busey pleaded guilty Thursday to sexual misconduct, admitting to inappropriately touching a woman several years ago at a horror-film convention in Cherry Hill.
Busey, 81, was accused of groping five women with whom he was taking pictures at Monster-Mania Con in August 2022.

On Thursday, he pleaded guilty to fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct during a virtual hearing.
As part of a plea agreement, a Camden County judge dismissed his other charges: three other counts of criminal sexual contact and one count of attempted criminal sexual contact.

"It was a minor incident, and four of the charges have been dismissed," Busey's attorney, Blair R. Zwillman, told Patch. "He's planning to put it behind him."
Busey faces one to five years of probations and fines, according to The Guardian. He also must submit a DNA sample.
Sentencing is scheduled for Sept. 18.
