Grant Will Improve Cherry Hill Residents' Quality Of Life: Official

Cherry Hill's grant totaled more than $155,000, according to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill recently received $155,561 in Clean Communities grant funding, according to the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.

"The [department is] thrilled that we are able to distribute additional grant funds this year to help communities improve their local environments and improve quality of life," said New Jersey Department of Protection (DEP) Commissioner Shawn M. LaTourette.

The funds can be used on projects such as beautifying neighborhoods, improving water quality, enhancing wildlife habitats, enforcing litter and graffiti removal, street sweeping and more, according to LaTourette.
