Gym In Cherry Hill To Permanently Close

CHERRY HILL, NJ — The Esporta Fitness gym in Cherry Hill is set to permanently close next month.

Esporta Fitness, part of the Plaza at Cherry Hill, will shut down at 2 p.m. Dec. 19, according to a note posted on the front door.

The note says that members will be able to access all other Esporta facilities, along with LA Fitness and City Sports Club locations. All three are owned by Fitness International, LLC.

But once Esporta in Cherry Hill closes, none of those brands will have locations in the immediate area. South Jersey has no other Esporta or City Sports Club facilities, and the nearest LA Fitness centers are in Marlton and Mount Laurel.
