Hampshire House Resident Arrested, Allegedly Burglarized Apartment

An alleged burglar admitted to trying to break into an apartment at the Hampshire House Apartments at Cooper Landing Road and Chapel Avenue after officers responded to the scene Monday night, Cherry Hill Police said.
Israel Cruz, 43, a Hampshire House resident himself, approached officers who arrived at the apartments just after 10 p.m. and confessed to attempting to break in where the burglary was reported.
Cruz was charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief, and was taken to the Camden County Jail after failing to post bail.
