Hello Kitty Cafe, Back-To-School Celebration Coming To Cherry Hill

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill Mall is set for an eventful Saturday, with a back-to-school celebration and an appearance from Hello Kitty's ride.

The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will return to the mall from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (while supplies last), while the "Fuel For School" event runs from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. that day.

'Fuel For School'

With class only weeks away, Cherry Hill Mall will host family-friendly activities and entertainment at the back-to-school event. Festivities will include live music, character appearances, crafts, demonstrations, local vendors and more.

Moorestown Mall — also owned by PREIT — is hosting a different Fuel For School event from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday.

Both malls request monetary or food donations to local organizations in support of PREIT's "Fuel For School" campaign to help provide nutritious food for families. Visit each mall's website for specifics about each event and partnering organizations.

Hello Kitty Cafe Truck

Hello Kitty's mobile café offers "delicious and supercute" desserts, pastries and treats for fans of all ages, according to the truck's website.

The Hello Kitty Cafe began in 2014 and now has two trucks serving treats throughout, according to Sanrio, the Japanese entertainment company that produces Hello Kitty products.
