Here's How Cherry Hill Students Scored On The SAT

We have the results of how Cherry Hill's students fared on the SAT according to the most recent scores released by the state.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - Students in the Cherry Hill Public School District averaged 1154 on the SATs, according to the most recent data released by the state.

The SAT is still considered the primary standardized test that judges a student's college qualifications. So Patch put together the list of each New Jersey high school's most recent average scores that the state released, and ranked them from top to bottom.

Patch compiled the combined SAT scores as well as the lists of scores in the two sections identified as "math" and "reading and writing."

On the math portion, students in the district averaged 578, and in reading/writing, the average score was 576. Perfect would be a combined 1600, or 800 in each section.

The SAT scores were part of the state Department of Education's School Performance Reports for the 2017-18 school year. These reports are designed to inform parents, educators and communities about how well a school is performing and preparing its students for college and careers, according to the DOE.
