Hit-And-Run Crash Kills Pedestrian In Camden County

The walker was near the area of the fog line and concrete barrier.

CAMDEN, NJ — A person who was walking down I-676 was killed on Thursday after they were hit by a driver, New Jersey State Police said.

At around 2:15 a.m., troopers responded to a crash at mile marker 3.3.

An unknown driver was traveling north on I-676 when they hit the pedestrian who was walking in the area of the northbound yellow fog line and concrete barrier.

The driver fled the scene, authorities added.

The name of the person who died is being withheld pending identification and notification to their family.
