Important Dates Heading into Cherry Hill's 2013 School Year

The school year starts next week, but it’s a busy time ahead of the official start date for students. Cherry Hill Schools released the following calendar of events heading into the first week of school:

Aug. 28—East: Freshman Orientation, 9 a.m.

Aug. 28—West: Freshman Orientation, 7 p.m.

Aug. 29—Barclay: PTA Executive Board Meeting, 6:30 p.m. at Starbucks on Route 70

Aug. 29—Beck: 6th Grade Orientation, 7:30 p.m.

Aug. 29—Cooper: Welcome Back PTA/Teacher Breakfast, 9 a.m.

Aug. 29—Harte: Teacher Welcome Back Luncheon

Aug. 29—Kilmer: PTA Welcome Back Breakfast for Teachers/Staff

Aug. 29—Mann: Teacher/Staff Welcome Back Breakfast

Aug. 29—Johnson: Teacher Welcome Back Breakfast, 8:30 a.m.

Aug. 29—Stockton: Teacher Welcome Back Luncheon, 1 p.m.

Aug. 29—Woodcrest: Welcome Back Breakfast for Staff, 9 a.m.

Aug. 30—Kilmer – New Student Orientation, 3 p.m.

Aug. 30—Rosa – Teacher Welcome Back Breakfast, 8 a.m.
 

Sept. 3—First Day of School for Students, 1:00 p.m. Dismissal for Grades 1-5

Sept. 3, 4—Barclay: Meet Your Teacher Days (K Social Skills, Regular Class, 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.)

Sept. 3—Cooper: Welcome Back Water Ice – Race for Education Dunk Tank Reward, 6:30 p.m.

Sept. 3—Harte: Welcome Tea, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Sept. 3—Johnson: Welcome Back to School Carnival, 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Sept. 3—Kilmer: Chick-fil-A Night, 5-8 p.m.
