Insomnia Cookies Readies For Cherry Hill Opening
The chain of bakeries, known for satisfying late-night cravings, is coming soon to South Jersey.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — If you find yourself craving middle-of-the-night snacks, Cherry Hill will have a fresh-baked option. Insomnia Cookies plans to open soon in the township.
The chain of bakeries, known for satisfying late-night cravings with warm cookies, hasn't set an opening date for the Cherry Hill store. But the location is expected to open in the coming months, a company spokesperson told Patch.
Insomnia Cookies is currently hiring employees for Cherry Hill. The store will be located at 1006 Haddonfield Rd.

In 2003, some college friends were up late in a University of Pennsylvania dorm room, wishing they had better late-night food options. One of them was Seth Berkowitz, who went on to found Insomnia Cookies.
The first bakery opened three years later in Syracuse, New York, and now has more than 200 stores. Despite company headquarters being in Philadelphia, Cherry Hill will have South Jersey's only Insomnia Cookies location.

Most stores begin deliveries at 10 a.m. on weekdays and noon on weekends, going until 3 a.m. each night. Along with warm cookies, the bakeries also serve ice cream and brownies.
