Join us at for some family fun events during the month of October at the Katz JCC.
JCC Community Tot Shabbat
Date/Time: Friday, October 2 10:30-11:15am
Location: Katz JCC
Who: Open to the community, Families with children ages 1-4
Description: Join us for a fun playgroup and meet new friends as we celebrate Shabbat with crafts, snacks, music, candle lighting and challah.

JCC Planks For Pink
Date/Time: Sunday, October 11 9:15am & 10:30am
Location: Katz JCC
Who: Open to the community
Description: Show us how long you can hold a plank in our 4th annual event to raise money during Breast Cancer Awareness month. Participants are encouraged to obtain sponsors for $5 for every minute they can hold a plank.
Cost: Minimum $15 donation to participate

Paint A Challah Tray
Date/Time: Wednesday, October 21 6:30-8:30pm
Location: Katz JCC
Who: Open to the community, Families with children 3-6
Description: Paint your own challah tray for the Jewish holidays and enjoy a pizza dinner with your friends and family!
Cost: JCC Members: $25 for the 1st child, $18 per add. Child; Non-Members: $35 for the 1st child, $28 per add. Child.

JCC Baby & Toddler Expo
Date/Time: Sunday, October 25 11am-3pm
Location: Katz JCC
Who: Open to the community
Description: Join us for a day of pre & post pregnancy seminars, parent/child fitness demos, hands-on activities for kids, and giveaways! Over 50 vendors will be in attendance.

JCC 5k Race & 1 Mile Fun Walk
Date/Time: Sunday, October 25 5k Run: 9am & 1 Mile Walk: 8:30am
Location: Katz JCC
Who: Open to the community
Description: A family day of athletic fun on a USATF Certified Course complete with prizes and refreshments!
*Cost: 5k Pre-Race: $20; 5k Entry Day Race: $25; 1 Mile Walk: $10
*First 150 5k registrants will receive a dri-fit race shirt
