Local Actor Makes Walnut Street Theatre Debut This Summer
Cherry Hill's Richie Sklar will be starring in WST for Kids' production of "Miss Nelson Has a Field Day" this June.
Richie Sklar is local to Cherry Hill, New Jersey. A graduate of Cherry Hill East High School, Richie is thrilled to be making his Walnut Street Theatre debut as Patrick in Miss Nelson Has a Field Day, which closes the WST for Kids 2015-2016 season.
Though this may be his first time in the Walnut stage, Richie has had quite the career so far, having appeared in productions like Into the Woods, Seussical and Hello, Dolly! Richie has been a welcomed addition to the Walnut family. You don't want to miss him in this game-winning musical that is sure to have audiences cheering!
Kick-off summer with the Smedley Tornadoes and the world's meanest substitute teacher, Miss Viola Swamp! Though Richie has "never played a game of football in his life," you will see the Smedley Tornadoes transform from the worst team ever into champions!
