Lourdes Cardiologist to Take Part in Cherry Hill Township “Walk with Wellness” Event

On Saturday, November 19, Lourdes cardiologist Dr. Vivek Sailam will take part in Cherry Hill Township’s “Walk with Wellness” campaign at Croft Farm, located at Borton’s Mill Road off of Brace Road.

As part of the wellness discussion, Dr. Sailam will speak with participants and answer questions about cardiovascular health, nutrition and fitness, stress, and heart disease risk factors and treatment options. Following the discussion, Dr. Sailam will join participants on a guided wellness walk.

The event is part of Cherry Hill Township’s “Walk with Wellness” campaign, where area residents are invited to participate in health information sessions with local health experts and go on guided walks along township sites and trails. These free events, which are held on specific Saturdays through November 19, aim to encourage residents to take steps toward living a healthier life.

The schedule for the November 19 event is as follows:

• Registration - 8:30 a.m. - 8:45 a.m. (pre-registration available at https://register.capturepoint.com/cherryhill)
• Introduction/welcome - 8:45 a.m. - 8:50 a.m.
• Wellness discussion with Dr. Sailam - 8:50 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
• Guided wellness walk - 9:15 a.m. – 10:15 a.m.

The remaining “Walk with Wellness” events are being held Saturday, October 22 at Columbia Lake, and Saturday, November 5 at Barclay Farmstead.
