Major Snowstorm In Cherry Hill: Closures, Transportation Issues, Plowing
The weekend storm's impacts lingered into Monday, when several closures loomed and others ventured back out into the world.
Update: Cherry Hill had 9.3 inches of snow as of Monday morning, according to the National Weather Service.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — The major winter storm's impacts in Cherry Hill lingered into Monday after nearly a foot of snow blanketed the region.
More than 10 inches of snow fell in parts of South Jersey, while a wintry mix made driving especially hazardous, according to weather officials.

The Cherry Hill Department of Public Works continued plowing and treating roads on Monday.

Closures
The Cherry Hill School District canceled class and all before- and after-school activities on Monday. School will be made up on Feb. 16, which is Presidents' Day.
Monday closures in Cherry Hill also include:
- all Cherry Hill Municipal offices. The Township Council meeting has been postponed to 7 p.m. Wednesday.
- the Cherry Hill Public Library.
- some organizations also remained closed Monday, such as the Katz JCC.
- Cherry Hill Mall has a one-hour delay, opening at 11 a.m. Department stores and restaurants may vary.
Transportation
Public Works crews will continue to plow and treat the roadways into Monday.
PATCO is operating on a snow schedule, with trains arriving every 15 minutes. Trains are running on or close to schedule as of Monday morning, according to PATCO.
NJ Transit has been working to resume service on Monday. Rail service remains suspended as of this writing, while 45 bus routes have resumed and light rails are operating with some delays.
Snowfall Totals
Measurements vary, but all indications point to the largest snowfall in recent years.
Cherry Hill received at least 7 inches of snow, according to the National Weather Service. But the measurement came at 7 p.m. Sunday, while the storm was still underway.
South Jersey's highest-recorded snowfall totals were in Mantua (10.5 inches as of 9:15 p.m. Sunday), Bellmawr (10.2 inches as of 11:13 p.m. Sunday) and Mount Laurel (10.2 inches as of 8:40 p.m. Sunday).
Philadelphia received 9.3 inches of snow on Sunday, marking the city's biggest snowstorm in 10 years, the NWS said.
