Man Charged In Fatal Camden Co. Choking: Prosecutor

Tyler Roderick, 31, is accused of choking Bradley Niesen, also 31, to death in Pennsauken over the holiday weekend, authorities said.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A man has been charged in the fatal choking of a Pennsauken resident over the holiday weekend, Camden County officials said Tuesday.

Tyler Roderick, 31, of Pennsauken was charged with first-degree aggravated manslaughter on Christmas Eve, Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Police Chief Philip Olivo said.

At about 11:30 p.m. on Dec. 23, police were dispatched to the 4600 block of High Street, where they found the dead body of 31-year-old Bradley Niesen, authorities said. Further details were not immediately available.

Roderick was identified as the suspect and charged the next day, authorities said. He was taken to the Camden County Correctional Facility.
