Man Robbed 2 Women At Cherry Hill Banks In 40 Minutes: Police

Police said the man approached each woman on foot, held her up at knife point and fled with cash.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill police are investigating two armed robberies that occurred within 40 minutes of each other on Tuesday. In each incident, a man held up a woman who was leaving a bank at knife point and fled the scene with cash, police said.

Although the man approached each woman on foot, police believe he fled each scene in a white, 4-door vehicle, possibly a Kia Optima. In each incident, police said the man was loitering on foot outside the bank before he confronted each victim.

First, the man robbed a woman who was leaving the Bank of America at 22 West Route 70 at about 1:38 p.m., police said. At about 2:20 p.m., police said he robbed a woman who was leaving the TD Bank at 357 North Kings Highway.
