Man Shot Dead Early Tuesday Morning In South Jersey, Prosecutor Says
A technology that identifies gunshots alerted police.
CAMDEN, NJ — A man was killed after a shooting in the City of Camden early Tuesday morning, the Camden County Prosecutor's Office said.
At around 12:20 a.m., officers responded to the 200 block of Morse Street for a ShotSpotter alert.
The technology acts as an acoustic gunfire detection software that works with sensors to detect, locate, and alert police to areas of concern.

Officers found Luis J. Bonet, 24, of Camden, near Baird Boulevard and Boyd Street after he was shot.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital where he was declared dead at around 12:36 a.m., according to officials.
