Man Sought In Armed Robbery Of Cherry Hill Gas Station: Police
The armed robbery took place on Feb. 17.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Cherry Hill police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who stole cigarettes while threatening a gas station employee at knife point. The armed robbery occurred at the Citgo Gas Station, 1510 Route 38 just after 7 pm. on Saturday, Feb. 17.
Police said he approached the attendant on foot after arriving in what is believed to be a Lexus RX330 sport utility vehicle. The SUV had parked on Harvard Avenue to the rear of the gas station, and police said the man got out on the passenger’s side. After approaching the attendant, police said the man brandished a knife and stole an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes. He then fled on foot on Harvard Avenue, and the SUV drove off in the same direction.
He is described as a heavyset white male in his 30s with dark hair and facial hair. He was wearing a hooded sweatshirt and a white scarf over his face. There is no description of the driver of the SUV available at this time. Images of the suspect and the SUV are embedded below.
