Missing South Jersey Teen Spotted In Car That Hit Cop

Hannah Rose Jones was spotted in the car that hit a sheriff's deputy over the weekend, according to published reports.

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. — A 14-year-old South Jersey girl who has been reported missing was seen in a car that ran over a police officer over the weekend. Hannah Rose Jones was reported missing last week. She had last been seen in Florence, Burlington County on Oct. 8.

On Saturday night, she was seen in a car in which a driver ran over a police officer in South Philadelphia, according to the FBI. Police were attempting to stop the driver at the time, after spotting Jones in the car.

The driver, identified as Deven Harley, fled the scene on foot after hitting the sheriff’s deputy, according to 6 ABC. He was arrested shortly thereafter, and faces assault charges. Jones wasn’t with Harley when he was arrested, and remains missing.

Police were able to track Jones to Philadelphia via videos of herself that she sent to friends through social media, NJ Advance Media reports. The car was located at about 11:30 p.m. on the 3000 block of South 7th Street.

Jones is described as standing about 5’1,” and weighing about 120 pounds, with hazel eyes and sandy blonde hair. She was wearing a black sweatshirt, black leggings, and gray Nike sneakers. She also may have been wearing a silver bracelet with hearts.
