Mount Laurel firm - MaGrann Associates - wins major national award from US Green Building Council.

Mount Laurel, NJ, MaGrann Associates, local energy consulting and engineering firm, provided LEED certification, as part of a collaborative team effort that resulted in the project receiving the highest honor for green building.

MOUNT LAUREL, NJ - The U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) named Paseo Verde its “Project of the Year,” in recognition of its civic-mindedness, environmental responsibility and innovation. The win by Paseo Verde was a team effort that consisted of top-notch consultants - MaGrann Associates of Mount Laurel, NJ, was the LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), Rater and Provider for Paseo Verde; Wallace Roberts and Todd were the Architects; Asociación Puertorriqueños en Marcha and Jonathan Rose Companies of New York were co-developers; and Domus Inc. was general contractor and builder.

Paseo Verde is a rental-housing complex in the Temple University area. The, striking, 206,000 sq. ft. transit oriented development, features 120 units that provide energy-efficient, healthy living environments to market-rate and low-income tenants. The complex also provides essential community services such as primary health care, a pharmacy, retail stores and community service stations on premise.
