New Childcare, Education Facility On The Way In South Jersey

CHERRY HILL, NJ — A nationwide childcare and education franchise is bringing a new facility to Cherry Hill.

Multi-unit owner Kal Patel is bringing his second Cherry Hill "Lightbridge Academy" to area families.

Patel opened his school at 10 Grove St. in 2019.

"We saw firsthand just how strong the demand was for high-quality early childhood education in Cherry Hill," Patel told Patch. "Opening a second center lets us serve even more Cherry Hill families who need that same trusted option, while creating additional jobs for local educators."

The new center will sit at 41 Coles Ave. and is scheduled to open its doors for the summer of 2027.

Kids ages 6 weeks through pre-kindergarten will be able to attend.

"At Lightbridge Academy, we strive to create a warm, nurturing environment that truly bridges the gap between home and school," Craig Murray, Chief Development Officer at Lightbridge, said.

The schools use technology, including the ParentView Internet Monitoring system and Lightbridge Journey App, in order to connect families to student achievements.

Lightbridge said they are also donating to the Cherry Hill Education Foundation in order to give additional education opportunities and resources to students across the township.

"Lightbridge Academy is built around our Circle of Care philosophy, which weighs the needs of children, families, teachers, owners, and the community equally," added Patel.

Lightbridge Academy was founded in 1997 and has grown to more than 200 centers throughout the United States, including more than 40 in New Jersey.
