New Dim Sum Restaurant Opens In Cherry Hill

Dim sum is on the rise in South Jersey, with 2 establishments celebrating openings in the past month.

CHERRY HILL, NJ — Dim sum is on the rise in South Jersey — perhaps in no place more so than Cherry Hill. Dim Sum House recently opened its doors, expanding the township's offerings for the restaurant format.

Dim Sum House (1471 Brace Rd., Unit F) opened Feb. 21, offering Shanghai and Taiwanese cuisine from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. every day.

Dim sum refers to a wide range of small dishes often enjoyed during brunch. While typically associated with Cantonese cuisine, dim sum dishes also sometimes include other Chinese dishes.

Although dim sum restaurants aren't particularly common in much of South Jersey, their presence continues to grow. The region also welcomed another dim sum restaurant recently — Zheng's Table in Moorestown, which celebrated its grand opening on Friday.

Cherry Hill's dim sum options also include Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao — a Michelin-recommended Shanghainese restaurant that opened in the township in 2021.

Dim Sum House offers a variety of dishes, including soup dumplings and Peking duck. The establishment is also offering 10 percent off for your first online order.
