CHERRY HILL, NJ — Here are five things Cherry Hill residents should know for the weeks ahead.

  1. Classic Cake is celebrating its new store with a grand re-opening this Thursday. The bakery had been without a permanent home since the 2020 Short Hills Plaza fire destroyed several businesses.
  2. From a local-politics standpoint, Cherry Hill's primary election season wasn't particularly eventful. But now, campaigns will heat up for Nov. 5's General Election. Local voters will vote for officeholders from the Township Council to the U.S. presidency. Find out more.
  3. Cherry Hills schools will receive $3.1 million from a state rescue plan, providing a cushion after the district was set to lose nearly $7 million in aid. The Board of Education will discuss how the new aid will be used during Tuesday's meeting. See the agenda.
