NJ Aid for Animals to Provide Vaccines and Flea Treatment
NJ Aid for Animals to Provide Life-Saving Vaccines and Flea Treatment at 12th Annual "Pets in the City" Event Saturday, April 6

NJ Aid for Animals, Inc. is holding its signature event "Pets in the City" on Saturday, April 6 in the City of Camden. For just a $1 donation, Camden residents can get a life-saving vaccine and a free flea treatment for their cat or dog, a cat carrier or a leash and a dog collar. The event will take place at Respond Inc. Daycare Center at 9th and Linden in Camden from noon to 3 p.m. No reservations are required.
Diseases like the Parvo-virus, an often-fatal virus in dogs (like Swine Flu in humans) and the Calicivirus in cats can be prevented by a simple vaccine. “We’re proud to once again host Pets in the City and help keep dogs and cats healthy while providing peace of mind to pet owners,” said Kathy McGuire, NJAFA’s executive director. “In the City of Camden, dogs are more likely to die in the summer due to the Parvo-virus and being hit by a car. Pets are also surrendered due to fleas.”
