NJ Clean Communities Council Gives "Adopt-a-Highway" Award to Cherry Hill Volvo

Cherry Hill Volvo is committed to cleaning up Route 73 north

Cherry Hill Volvo has received the “Adopt-a-Highway” award from the New Jersey Clean Communities Council (NJCCC) for the dealership’s commitment to cleaning up Route 73 north in Mount Laurel.

It has been three years since Cherry Hill Volvo joined the Adopt-a-Highway program, which encourages volunteers to clean and maintain state highways to enhance New Jersey’s landscape, collecting and recycling tons of trash every year.

“Being a Volvo dealer, we are committed to the community and the environment,” said Giovanni Spiritoso, shop foreman at Cherry Hill Volvo. “The Adopt-a-Highway program is a perfect fit for us and the State of New Jersey. You gain a different perspective of the environment when you are cleaning the road, and are aware of the many people who throw garbage out your window. Every time my team and I go out there, I leave with a positive feeling.”
