Woman Ejected, Killed In Crash After Running Stop Sign In South Jersey: Police

Her passenger was also seriously injured, authorities said.

FAIRFIELD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A South Jersey woman died in a crash that also seriously injured her passenger after she ran a stop sign Sunday morning in Cumberland County, authorities said.

Angie Doza-Rudas, 35, of Bridgeton, was ejected from her vehicle and killed in the crash at 7:27 a.m. in Fairfield Township, according to State Police.

She was traveling northbound on Route 722 and ran the stop sign at the intersection with Route 692, authorities said. A Ford F-550 then struck her vehicle as it traveled eastbound on Route 692.

Doza-Rudas's passenger — a 27-year-old man — sustained "serious" injuries, said Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron, a State Police spokesperson. Information on his condition was not available.

The Ford F-550 driver's injuries were minor, Lebron said.

The crash remains under investigation.
