Police provided a video of emergency personnel pulling the woman from the tank, which was 10 feet below the ground.

A New Jersey woman was pulled from a septic tank this week after she was stuck inside for three hours, police said (see video below).

The woman was discovered at 2:40 p.m. Thursday when officers were summoned to the 3600 block of Nesco Road in Mullica Township, police said. The woman, 57-year-old Tami Camp, was conscious and alert and complaining about severe back pain while she was in the bottom of an old, abandoned septic tank.

Camp apparently fell through a rotted cover of the tank, which was 10 feet underground. Police said it took about 30 minutes for her son to hear her screams for help. He then went to a neighbor's house to call 911.
