Overturned Tractor-Trailer On Ben Franklin Bridge Causing Delays

Motorists leaving New Jersey should consider using the Walt Whitman Bridge or Betsy Ross Bridge, officials said.

CAMDEN, NJ — Several lanes have closed on the Ben Franklin Bridge because of an overturned tractor-trailer, officials said.

Officials closed three of four lanes Tuesday on the westbound side, which brings motorists from Camden to Philadelphia.

State transportation officials reported the incident at 1:41 p.m.

Expect westbound delays, according to the Delaware River Port Authority, which oversees the bridge. Motorists should consider using the Walt Whitman Bridge or Betsy Ross Bridge if possible, the DRPA said.
