PARCC Math Results: How Did Cherry Hill Do?

CHERRY HILL, NJ — On Monday, we told you how the Cherry Hill Public School District fared in the English portion of PARCC testing. Here’s a look at how students in the district fared in math, which was broken up into Algebra I, Geometry and Algebra II at the high school level.
Many districts in New Jersey performed in the "Level 4" and "Level 5" areas, which is between the scores of 750 and 850, the latter being a perfect score. Cherry Hill results are below:

5th Grade Math: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 755
6th Grade Math: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 750
7th Grade Math: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 748
8th Grade Math: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 720
Algebra I: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 753
Geometry: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 740
Algebra II: Cherry Hill Twp, Camden 744

The PARCC tests have been a source of controversy for years, and Gov. Phil Murphy has talked for nearly year about finding replacements for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers test.
