Pet Therapy Dogs Make Holiday Visit to Lourdes

Visit helped brighten hospitalized patients' spirits for the holidays

Ten teams of dogs and handlers from Tri-State K9 Response Team recently toured Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center to help brighten patients’ spirits for the holidays. Dogs and handlers were dressed in full holiday gear with Santa hats, red sweaters, jingle bells, and Hanukkah attire. Tri-State K9 Response Team is a partner of Lourdes Health System, providing patients with ongoing pet therapy services at each of its campuses.
