1 Person Airlifted After Police Chase Ends In Car Crash On N.J. Turnpike In South Jersey
The chase began in Middlesex County and ended with a crash in Mount Holly, according to published reports.

One person was airlifted from the scene of a crash that took place on the New Jersey Turnpike in Burlington County Tuesday afternoon, according to published reports.
The crash concluded a chase that began in Cranbury Township, Middlesex County at about 2 p.m. Tuesday afternoon, 6 ABC reports. When the pursuit ended, the car had flipped over near Exit 5 for Mount Holly. The roof of the car was heavily damaged, and debris was scattered across the scene.
The exit was closed for about two and a half hours, reopening just before 5:30 p.m., according to 511nj.org.

The chase began when the driver refused to stop for a traffic violation near Exit 8 on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to NJ 101.5. The pursuit continued south in the northbound lanes. There was only one person in the car. The person wasn't identified, but charges are pending.
