Manhunt Underway For Suspect In Cherry Hill Bank Robbery

The Republic Bank on Route 70 was robbed Thursday morning.

Cherry Hill, NJ -- The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Cherry Hill Police Department are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who robbed a bank Thursday morning.

The robbery took place at the Republic Bank at 399 East Route 70 in Cherry Hill around 8:30 a.m. when the man entered the bank and handed a demand note to the teller.

After he was given an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled on foot.

No one was injured, and there was no indication that the man had a weapon.

The suspect is described as a black man who stands just under six feet tall and has a large build.

He was wearing tan colored pants, a dark colored hoodie sweatshirt (possibly black) and a two-toned wool hat (possibly gray and black) with the words “ZOO YORK” on the front.
