Manhunt Follows Shooting Near Cherry Hill Mall: Prosecutor

Police are searching for Brian Walker in connection with the Sunday night shooting at Cherry Hill Towers.

CHERRY HILL, NJ - The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Cherry Hill Police Department are seeking the public’s help to find a Camden man they say is responsible for a shooting at an apartment complex across the street from the Cherry Hill Mall that took place Sunday night.

Brian Walker, 53, of Camden, has been charged with attempted murder for shooting a 29-year-old woman at Cherry Hill Towers on Route 38 Sunday night, according to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

Cherry Hill police responded to the apartment complex at about 11:25 p.m. on Sunday night, Nov. 4. They found the woman laying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where she was receiving treatment Monday evening. Further information about the victim wasn’t released on Monday.

Police believe Walker may be using the victim’s car, a Grey 2005 Dodge Magnum with New Jersey license plate ZUA-48V. His image is attached to this post. Walker is considered armed and dangerous. Members of the public should not approach him. Anyone who sees him should call 911 immediately.
