CHERRY HILL, NJ — A police investigation is underway Tuesday afternoon in Cherry Hill, officials said.

Cherry Hill police officers are in the area of Hickory Circle near Kresson Road, the police department said around 1:30 p.m.

The nature of the investigation wasn't immediately disclosed, but police said there are no known threats to the public at this time.

Officers are diverting traffic. Kresson Road between Evesham and Cropwell roads has a detour in place.
