Rutgers Football, Basketball Coaches to Appear in Cherry Hill Thursday

The "R B1G Tour" comes to PJ Whelihan's Thursday night.

South Jersey residents have the chance to see Rutgers football games at High Point Solutions Stadium at season ticket holder prices.

Head coaches and officials from the Rutgers University athletics program will be in Cherry Hill on Thursday, the University announced.

Former Rutgers All-Big East selection and NFL veteran Jamaal Westerman will serve as emcee for the event, which gives fans and alumni the chance to interact with football coach Kyle Flood and men’s basketball coach Eddie Jordan, as well as other representatives from Rutgers athletics programs.

The “R B1G Tour” will take place at P.J. Whelihan’s Pub and Restaurant, 6 p.m.-8 p.m.

The first 100 supporters ages 18 and older attending will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase two tickets to any 2015 Big Ten Conference home football game at season ticket holder prices. That means $85 for end zone seats and $100 for upper sideline seats.

This season’s conference home games include Michigan State (Oct. 10), Ohio State (Oct. 24), Nebraska (Nov. 14) and Maryland (Nov. 28).

Those who register in advance will receive a complimentary 16-ounce Rutgers tumbler at the event.
