School-Shooting Threat Against Camden Co. School Deemed Not Credible: Police
Although law enforcement found no elevated risk, police have increased their presence at the school.
PENNSAUKEN, NJ — Police received a tip about a shooting threat against Pennsauken High School. Investigators found that the threat wasn't credible.
Pennsauken police received an anonymous tip overnight regarding social-media posts about a threat Tuesday against the school. Patrol units and detectives worked "diligently" overnight to investigate the tip, according to Police Chief Philip P. Olivo.
The investigation found no credibility in the threat and no enhanced risk to Pennsauken High School's students or staff. As a precaution, police have increased their presence at the school, Olivo said.
