'Secret Santa' Picks Up $10K Layaway Tab At Cherry Hill Toys R Us
A man who goes by "Charlie K" paid off 62 layaway orders worth over $10,000 when he went shopping on Black Friday, according to reports.
CHERRY HILL, NJ — Anyone who used layaway at the Toys R Us in Cherry Hill was in for an early Christmas present.
A man identified only as “Charlie K” paid for every order on layaway when he went shopping on Black Friday, CBS 3 reports. This Secret Santa paid for a total of 62 orders that totaled $10,780.
He also paid for an additional $2,000 worth of items that were to be donated to Toys for Tots, the Courier Post reports. He had each customer in the store pick out three toys to be donate.

He made the decision to pick up the massive layaway bill when he went shopping for his son, according to ABC. Shoppers said they were “surprised and thankful.”
"I can only do it because of the community that provided me the luxury to do it," he said, according to nj.com. "I love this community, and I'm trying to provide back for it."
