Two South Jersey hospitals were on lockdown Friday afternoon after a suicidal man said he wanted to kill himself there and then offer himself as an "organ donor," according to reports.
The man called Virtua Hospital on Friday afternoon and said he wanted to kill himself at the facility, according to CBS3. Both Virtua Voorhees and Virtua Memorial in Mount Holly were subsequently placed on lockdown.
Virtua Hospital in Voorhees confirmed to Patch that the building was on lockdown, but people going to the emergency room could use identification to get in.

The situation was resolved by 2:45 p.m., according to the Virtua's Twitter account. The situation did not impact patient care and the two hospitals returned to standard operations, according to Virtua.
"Due to an external concern and an overabundance of caution, Virtua Voorhees and Memorial were placed on lockdown. The situation is resolved," according to the health system.
